Designing knitwear is not always a fairy tale: in fact, it rarely is. Sometimes you know exactly what to do and when you do it, it actually works. But more often than not, you start, you fail, and then you do it again (and again (and again)) until you succeed – or despair to the point of quitting the whole thing once and for all.
I’m not there yet: I’ve just fail… er… improved my initial project once. How did it happen? Half way through the hat I realized that I didn’t like the way the colours matched… Rip-rip-rip… back to the starting point: redraw the chart, re-match the colours and re-knit! Go!
